Preparing good meals starts with being well-equipped in the kitchen. Recipes often require prep steps like cutting, peeling, slicing, pitting, mincing and chopping before we get to the fun part of combining everything. Often referred to as the workhorses of the kitchen, our small essential knives are ideal for all these prep steps!
We’re excited to welcome Chef Mike, a private chef based in Chicago, Illinois, as the Opinel Culinary Ambassador. Along with seasonally focused recipes, Chef Mike will spend the next few months offering up tips and tricks for cooking at home and outside with Opinel.
At Opinel we’ve long admired the simple, beautiful ceramic dinnerware coming from the minds (and hands) of the folks at East Fork Pottery. With a mutual dedication to manufacturing and integrity, and a shared connection of family and heritage brands, we’re celebrating our kinship with the makers at East Fork.
For this round of Opinel’s limited edition artist series, we teamed up with Jérémy Groshens - Les Aiguilles de Dje, a 29-year-old French tattoo artist. Traveling between the mountains of his native Alsace and the Basque coast, Jérémy takes his art on the road, working from a 1972 Digue camper-turned-mobile workshop and tattoo parlor called the Outdoor Tattoo Truck.
