    A good idea

I feel the book is not very useful : you don’t need a book to explain how to make a slingshot and you don’t need to make a fishing hook made of wood as it would never be able to catch a fish. I love the idea of that book but i’m a bit disappointed by the content.

    Proud Pop-pa

I bought my boys (7&9yrs old) an Opinel after we did pocket knife safety training during a camping trip. They are proud owners of their new blades and are very careful as they whittle sticks. I got this book to help the boys develop their pocket skills. So far we have made a carrot whistle, forks, and attempted some spoons. Creative, well illustrated projects are in the book and it fun to watch my boys flip thru the pages trying to decide what they want to make next.
