Every two years, Opinel collaborates with artists ona thematic limited edition collection. After France, Amour, Escapade, and Nature... the No.08 Artist Limited Edition V Cosmos. This year in 2025, they pay tribute to this universal fascination, to the silent connection between us and the stars.
The cosmos invites us to dream. It speaks of infinity, mystery, escape, a gentle vertigo that compels us to look up and question ourselves. Everyone projects their dreams, beliefs, and emotions onto it: for some, it is the silent theatre of great existential questions; for others, a poetic refuge, a moving tableau made of stars, planets, and mysteries. The sky inspires scientists as much as artists, dreamers as much as explorers. It embodies the connection between humanity and the universe, between the tangible and the elusive. In the immensity of the sky, everyone searches for meaning, emotion, and light.
Let's discover the three artists: Dalkhafine, Benjamin Jean Jeanand Asile, behind this 5th Limited Edition and their interpretation of the "Cosmos".

Dalkhafine is a multidisciplinary artist. Born in France, Delphine is passionate about culture and travel, and has been living in Montreal since 2013. After starting her professional career as a 2D animator, Dalkhafine chose to fully dedicate herself to her personal projects. Whether through illustration, motion design, painting, screen printing, murals, clothing, or VJing, Dalkhafine’s work spans multiple mediums and formats. Her colorful universe—deeply inspired by nature and often framed with dark borders—has led to numerous collaborations with celebrities (Pharrell Williams, Jain) and brands (Jeep, Aldo).

Benjamin Jeanjean is a French visual artist based in the Basque Country. An illustrator, visual artist, and tattooist, he enjoys blending absurdity, dark humor, and contradictions through figurative and symbolic representations.
He works with a variety of techniques—including illustration, ceramics, installations, and murals—to make his art both deeply personal and universally relatable.
An ideal medium for telling complex stories, his style is highly figurative, filled with personal references and expressive details. His work is rich with symbols and poetry.
Benjamin draws inspiration from old engravings, contemporary imagery, the irrational, human logic—and humanity itself. He collaborates with brands (RVCA, Millet.)

Elisa, also known as Asile, is a freelance artist and illustrator based in France.
Asile's universe is inhabited by cheerful, chubby characters, colorful flora and fauna, and dreamlike landscapes. Elisa’s work is a true ode to kindness, self-love, and love for others. Through her illustrations, she creates joyful, lighthearted images with a poetic, uninhibited, and playful style. She is interested in all forms of visual communication—whether for print, digital media, or artisanal projects.
