Built for mountaineering, climbing, and fast-moving adventures, the Néo7 Alpine is an ultra-lightweight outdoor knife that combines innovative functionality with Opinel's trusted reliability.
At its core is the Opiflex® mechanism, a modern blade holding system that provides smooth, intuitive handling while securely holding the blade open during use. The protruding blade tip allows for quick one-handed opening, even when wearing gloves or when your other hand is occupied on the trail, at camp, or on the rock face.
More than just a knife, the Néo7 Alpine doubles as a compact screwdriver thanks to its integrated ¼" bit holder. Ideal for tightening gear, making quick equipment adjustments, or handling repairs in the field, it adds valuable versatility without adding bulk. Combined with a durable stainless steel blade and a fiberglass-reinforced handle built to withstand moisture, impacts, and temperature extremes, the Néo7 Alpine is made for life in the mountains.
Minimalist in form yet remarkably capable, the Néo7 Alpine is designed for those who travel light, move fast, and demand dependable performance wherever adventure leads.
Ultra-lightweight and built for the mountains, the Néo7 Alpine combines Opiflex® innovation with rugged outdoor durability. Designed for mountaineering, climbing, hiking, and every alpine adventure.
Every detail of the Néo7 Alpine is designed with functionality and weight savings in mind. The protruding blade tip allows for quick one-handed opening and doubles as a practical scraper for removing ice, snow, or debris from gear. A partially serrated blade efficiently cuts through ropes, cordage, and alpine equipment or snack, while the distinctive cutout in the blade reduces weight without compromising performance. The result is Opinel's lightest knife ever—built for those who count every ounce in the mountains.
More than just a knife, the Néo7 Alpine doubles as a compact screwdriver thanks to its integrated ¼" bit holder. From tuning ski equipment and tightening trekking poles to making quick gear repairs at camp or on the rock face, it provides extra versatility when every ounce and every tool counts.

For over 130 years Opinel has been crafting knives and tools in the heart of the French Alps. Much like Joseph Opinel did from his workshop in 1890, today we still manufacture Opinel products from our factory in Chambery, France.
Little has changed since 1890. Rooted in history and a commitment to craftsmanship, we're still following in Joseph Opinel's footsteps nearly 130 years later. From our home in the Alps, we make tools designed to stand the test of time. We value the quaility of our knives and tools, and offer a limited lifetime warranty for all Opinel products. In the event of a manufacturer's defect or workmanship, Opinel will exchange the products affected.
