TUF-GLIDE penetrates hard to reach areas and displaces water. It provides cleaning, rust protection, and lubrication. Pure mineral spirits carry active ingredients and provide cleaning action. It quickly evaporates, and Sentry's proprietary ingredients bond to the surface. The bonding ensures long-lasting effectiveness and reliable dirt-free performance.

TUF-GLIDEs waterproof protection will not wash off and will not thicken in the cold (even down to -40°F/-40°C). It is dry to the touch so will not attract dirt like oil-based products, nor does it leave a slippery film like silicone. It is safe to use on wood and most plastics.

Perfect for those 'hard to reach's spots!

This was offered as an 'add-on purchase' and I thought it would work well for my miniature knife collection. They're all very old and in need of some TLC. I hate the straws on most lubricants, as they drip, fall off, and generally make a mess. This worked perfectly to get every nook and cranny of all my tiny knives (most less than 2"long folded) without being wasteful or messy. I can't speak for how well it inhibits rust or any of that yet, as I just used it, but it seemed to make the action a little easier and allowed me to sand off some surface rust that was developing in a few hard to see places. All in all, I'd recommend!

Essential accessory.

Handy applicator. Convenient size. I am new to Opinel. The sale and delivery went without a hitch. I have heard of the company of course forever, but had never had a chance to use any. So far I am impressed with the simplicity and usefulness.
