With the No.08 Artist Limited Edition IV Nature - a thematic limited edition collection released biannually - Opinel has collaborated with three artists whose work showcases aspects of nature through differing origins and inspirations.

Whether in their artistic practices and processes, or in the use of these elements in their compositions, Nature is in the spotlight! Edible and wild plants, aromatics, mushrooms or ﬂoral compositions will be featured in sublimated illustrations on the hornbeam handles of No.08 knives.

The MioSHE No.08 folding knife features a matte black PVD blade and Virobloc®.

Honoré‘s festive and colorful aesthetic builds a critical universe where madness and spontaneity prevail, much like in nature. Exploring a global and colorful visual style that sits somewhere between abstract and figurative, her design for the No.08 Artist Limited Edition IV Nature reveals a variety of natural elements. The lively, organic composition adds a playful element to the knife.

MioSHe

Honoring nature in his design for the No.08 Artist Limited Edition IV Nature knife, MioSHe created a silhouette that brings to mind "Vrikshasana", the yogic tree pose. Based loosely on Selene, goddess of the full moon, or perhaps Demeter goddess of agriculture and harvests, the strength of her posture transforms her into a fruit tree.

With her design for the No.08 Artist Limited Edition IV Nature, González presents us with an inspired expression of nature, showcasing the complex forms of fungi. A combination of astonishing beauty and exquisite flavors that delight our senses, the colorful artwork invites us to open our perception and connect with nature.

From our home in the Alps, we make tools designed to stand the test of time. We value the quaility of our knives and tools, and offer a limited lifetime warranty for all Opinel products. In the event of a manufacturer's defect or workmanship, Opinel will exchange the products affected.
