History of Perpétue

Perpétue (1813- 1858) is the grandmother of Joseph Opinel, creator of the Opinel pocket knife.Working alongside her husband, Victor-Amedee, she forged nails in the heart of the French Alps. She appreciated items with a simple, timeless aesthetic - sturdy, durable...

Stainless Steel

Efficient and durable, the entire perpetue collection is made with stainless steel, making them dishwasher safe. The knife is made of X20cr13 stainless steel, while the fork, tablespoon, and teaspoon are made of X5CrNi19-10 stainless steel.
