i love carbon steel knives, they are the best for people like me who carry every day

carbon steel is amazingly sharp, i can cut paper, steak, or even the mystery meat in the canteen! perfect for everyone

Big!

I really like No.12 carbon knife and it's sharp out the box. I cut up a pork butt with it to see how it did. The only thing is the handle is real slippery when wet and covered with fat.

Couldn't be more pleased. A large, light pocket knife that doesn't imprint while carrying it and sharp enough to shave with. Fantastic knife for the price.

It's big. Really big. One great camping pocket knife.

Make no mistake, this baby is large. It will however fit in your pants pocket. For everyday tasks I would go a size or two smaller but I like having a choice getting dressed in the morning. Big knife for a big job, some days I carry a #7, usually when I'm going to town for the day. # 12, it's a work knife, durable, tough, SHARP! Good value for your money. In a pinch you could whittle a good sized tree down with it.

Best all around WORK knife!

Camp knife? Maybe. I'd be more inclined to think so if it was available with a lanyard. Pocket knife? Definitely NOT. But if you constantly NEED a large sharp knife for kitchen or work duties THIS IS YOUR KNIFE! Definitely TOOL SIZE and TOOL STRENGTH. The handle fills a man sized hand for man sized tasks and gives great leverage on the blade. The strength and sharpness of the carbide blade is also a plus. Just remember to keep food grade mineral oil around to maintain the blade. No regrets.
