Opinel pays homage to water, the sky, animals and plants with the "Nature" series. Each knife's handle is carved from heart grade boxwood and feature a 12c27 Sandvik stainless steel yatagan blade. Please note that the "lines / groves" on the boxwood handle of this knife will darken with time and as a result become more noticeable.

Neither small nor big the No7 is one of the most versatile size in the ever growing line of Opinel folding knives. This knife is small enough to be used as a pocket knife and it's 3 1/16' blade prevent it to be considered a weapon in most states (check with your state).

   Your Stainless steel knife will not rust but it should not be kept in damp environments for too long as this will affect the wood handle. Place a little food grade mineral oil on all metal parts regularly. Dry the blade using a dry cloth after each use. We recommend the use of Tuf Cloth® product to care for and maintain your knife.
